Hollywood Blvd becomes a "piazza" during the Academy Awards for example, the celebrities replacing the clergy and royalty that promenaded in the old world urban spaces. This is related to the concepts of the morphology of space and transformative architecture. This is "public space" as generated by LA's culture.

    | It's such a harmful and mistaken perspective that still exists like a disease through the majority of human culture - the idea that things can stay the same. It is impossible for things to stay the same - supported by realizations contributed from Heraclitus' river metaphor, anicca in Buddhism, thermodynamics in physics. A perspective that translates ever-changing states as unchanging states, contributes contradiction into the world and it has harmful effects - unconscious and inconsiderate choices. A built building is far from the "final" phase of the project. There is no finality in existence. See if you can think of anything. |

To all those who are causing suffering in this world, directly or indirectly: Heed your dreams at night, those nightmares that you most assuredly are having are imploring you to change -before it’s too late♾☠️♾ ………..The quality of our dreams is both a reflection of our thoughts and actions as well as a general foreshadowing of the fate of our souls after this life. A nightly, temporary karma that implores us to change ~for the good~ so as to avoid a more permanent karma👁️🔥👁️ ……….While our body sleeps, our dream state symbolically represents the state that awaits upon our body's ultimate rest...In other words, while we are lying down and sleeping/dreaming, this natural process symbolizes where we go when we're ultimately lying down/dead -to a place "like" our dream-state...A state "of mind,” with our body's intended physical form+bonds eternally engrained and intertwined. ~8~

Fun fact: Anton Furst was under contract with Columbia, and wanted to find a way to work on Batman Returns. And Burton just sort of unceremoniously cut this guy off, just stopped taking his calls, and this was where he was doing a lot of work for personal friends, and professional relationships. He was just cutting ties with people sort of inexplicably. And unfortunately, he had substance abuse problems. He was supposed to go into rehab and was going to check himself in. And then one night, he just decided… to jump off a roof instead. He committed suicide. It was a month and a half after realizing “Oh, so they don't want me for this next Batman movie.” He and Burton had never had a chance to reconcile. Burton just stopped speaking to him. Furst had no idea what happened, he spiraled into this depression and that's how it ended. (Obviously, I'm not saying he died because of what Burton did to him, Furst was a very troubled guy. I guess it's just because Burton is famously a guy who avoids conflict. Like he had the producer of Batman Returns fire his agents for him so that he can sign on with a different agency. Like he just doesn't want to have those conversations. I think Burton had probably already decided “I just made Edward Scissorhands, I want the designer to reimagine everything because I don't want to make the same movie again.” And rather than trying to let Anton Furst down, gently, it was just like “Or I could not talk to him at all and then eventually he'll figure it out.”)
